The concept of the coffin originated from my research and the discovery of exorbitant costs associated with traditional options. The idea of spending 6000 euros for a coffin struck me as absurd, prompting me to devise a way to challenge this practice. My aim was to prompt reflection on expense and mortality. Accompanying the coffin is an instruction manual-style booklet, reminiscent of those found with flat-packed furniture, guiding individuals through the process of creating their own coffins. This not only encourages financial savings but also fosters contemplation on life's transient nature.
